Pontlands Park
The biggest hotel in Great Baddow is Pontlands Park. It sits in large countryside grounds and has a bar, restaurant and an attached spa with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sauna, small gym and café. There are 35 bedrooms. Pontlands also hosts weddings so if you are planning to visit in the summer book early.
Pontlands Park was built in 1879 and features Victorian period architecture with modern fixtures and fittings.
Rothmans Bed & Breakfast
Rothmans is a Grade II Heritage listed 17th Century manor home, with many original features, including a Jacobean staircase and panelled, oak-beamed rooms. Wisteria-bedecked windows look south across a large, secluded walled garden. There is a secluded walled garden which has plenty of garden toys for children. There is also a snooker room.
Free wi-fi, guest lounge with Sky Sports, rooms have Freeview. No smoking. Some rooms with shared toilets.

Travelodge Chelmsford
The Travelodge is on the Army and Navy roundabout on Baddow Road. This is traditionally the boundary of Great Baddow, although it is really in Chelmsford. It is about 25 minutes walk from the centre of Great Baddow.
