The Reading Rooms is the green building on near the top of Bell Street

The room has a capacity of 60 people and can be booked for parties and social gatherings. There are often theatre performances by Theatre at Baddow.
Various clubs use the reading rooms, such as Keep Fit, Jane Head Aerobics, a Solo whist players.
The Reading Rooms was building in the early 1900s, It is built from a prefabricated timber frame and clad in corrugated iron, painted green. It has a red gabled roof with a brick chimney and three gabled porches. It was built as a public reading room and is now a community hall and one of Great Baddow’s historical buildings.
