A Little Bazaar in Great Baddow on BBC TV, Monday 12 November at 7pm.
On 12th November 2012 a small antiques and collectibles shop in Great Baddow appeared on national television.
A Little Bazaar, which is on the parade of shops on Maldon Road in Great Baddow, just outside Chelmsford, was explored on Celebrity Antiques Road Trip with John “Boycie” Challis and Philip Serrell.
John Challis is best known as Boycie from Only Fools and Horses, he is from East London. Philip Serrell presents the Celebrity Antiques Road Trip, he is from Worcestershire. Boycie was competing with Marlene in the show too.
The auction was in the Dartford Auction House. They also explored the Baddow Antiques Centre, Battlebridge Antiques Centre, Halstead Antiques Centre, FB Antiques at Rettendon Common and Gosfield Shopping Village.
A Little Bazaar is a very small shop with a wide variety of items on sale. There is often some small pieces of furniture out the front (in good weather) and there is vintage clothing at the rear. It is certainly worth a look in if you are passing through – there is usually some free coffee in the pot for customers!
