The Great Baddow Lawn Tennis Club is on Ladywell Lane in Sandon, on the border with Great Baddow. They describe themselves as “The Friendliest Tennis Club in Chelmsford, Essex”. The club was founded in 1902 and first played in Great Baddow on Galleywood Road. They moved to Ladywell Lane in 1966.
