Jesters Theatre Acedemy has come to Great Baddow! They rehearse at Baddow Parish Hall on Saturdays and We run classes in musical theatre for ages 2 to 16 years and a choir group for adults called “Showchoir!”

Broadway Babies

This is for 2 to 4 year-olds and held at the Marconi Club, Beehive Lane on Mondays at 10.30am, musical theatre for tots including props, sparkly hats and jazz hands! Carers must stay with the children for this class.

Junior Jesters

Musical theatre for 5 to 7 year olds at Baddow Parish Hall, Saturday mornings at 9am. Drama, singing, and dancing.

Jesters Youth Theatre

For 8 to 16 year olds at Baddow Parish Hall, Saturday mornings 10 till 1pm. Drama, singing, dancing, outside performances and gigs. Currently working on a production of the Wizard of Oz which will be staged at the Parish Hall on June 29th.

Showchoir

For 12 to 80+ years! A choir with a difference! Purely songs from the musicals, we regularly perform gigs for charities and care homes and any organisation that fancies a night of songs from the shows. The group meets at the Baddow Parish Hall every Saturday from 1:30 to 3pm

Joanna Lee

The classes are run by Joanna Lee, a Great Baddow resident and also a local singing teacher, professional singer and actress,

Joanna has appeared in many West End musicals and big national tours, such as Les Miserables, Annie, Grease, Rocky Horror and Oliver.
