Ryan is refurbishing to the Blue Lion to include a restaurant with fresh home cooked food. They are looking to host events in the future, but have not yet confirmed dates. Regular beers include Green King IPA, Doombar, Adnams & Brewers gold.

The Blue Lion has transformed in recent years from being an average suburban pub into a real ale haven with a vibrant social scene, great little beer garden (with a few games to keep the kids amused) and regular beer festivals, barbecues and hog roasts in the summer months.
The pub is divided with a public bar to the left, which has a pool table, darts board and fruit machine, and the saloon bar to the right. Both bars have screens to show live football. The best thing about the Blue Lion today is the excellent beer. Greene King IPA, Brain’s Bread of Heaven and Sharp’s Doom Bar are regulars. The Blue Lion now holds the Cask Marque Award for serving great quality real ale.
