What the club does

This is a club for people with any physical disability. Meetings in the afternoon include guest speakers, quizzes, tea and chat.

The Club meets every Wednesday fortnight during the afternoon in the United Reformed Church, Great Baddow, where speakers on various subjects and other entertainments are presented.

The Club starts at 2-00pm and finishes around 4-15pm. The Club is now able to accept more people especially from the Great Baddow area, where already a number of local residents attend. If you are interested please telephone our Chairman, Paul Harden on 01245-461349

St. Raphael

St. Raphael is the patron saint of blind people,  bodily ills,  sick people and also happy meetings. His Feast Day is September 29th .

Volunteer drivers

A minibus is available to transport some of our members in wheelchairs to the Club, but at the moment we do not have a driver. If anybody under the age of 70 who holds a full driving licence and is able to spare around 3 hours on a Wednesday afternoon, then our Chairman mentioned above would be very pleased to hear from you.

Also if any car driver is willing to transport local residents each fortnight, this would be very much appreciated.
