Blue Lion darts team receiving their award

Great Baddow has the best pub darts team in the world! The team from The Blue Lion were crowned ‘the world’s best darts team’ following their victory at the 2014 Punch Darts Classic in Blackpool. The team won £2,500.

1,100 pubs took part in the tournament with 32 teams battling it out in the finals. The Blue Lion team defeated the Avenue (Durham) 6-1. The Avenue were the 2013 winners.

The Punch Darts Classic is the “Biggest Pub Darts Team Competition in the World” and it is free to enter.
