The High Street in Great Baddow will be shut for three nights from Wednesday, November 19, for repairs and resurfacing.

The road will be closed from the Maldon Road roundabout to just past Foxholes Road from 8.30pm until 5.30am.

Motorists will be able to access the village from Maldon Road and Molrams Lane as usual, or from Galleywood Road (Beehive Lane, Dorset Avenue).

Cllr Eddie Johnson, Portfolio Holder for Highways Maintenance and Small Schemes said that “I appreciate that there will be some disruption during the work and I would like to thank residents and motorists in advance for their cooperation while the work is ongoing.”

Work should be finished by Friday November 21 if the weather is good.
