On Thursday 18th September 2014 Russell Savory will be talking about the Wildlife of Stow Maries Aerodrome.
Russell Savory is a wildlife photographer who has been visiting the Stow Maries Aerodrome since 2008.
Stow Maries Aerodrome is the only remaining Royal Flying Corps aerodrome and a special heritage site. To date it has been home to 23 red-listed birds (globally threatened) and in the winter months all 5 species of British owls can be found.
You can read more about Russell and Stow Maries Aerodrome on his website, www.russellsavory.com. There are also many excellent photos.
The talk is being held at the United Reformed Church on the High Street. It starts at 8.15 pm and is due to finish at 10pm.
The talk is free but a donation of £2 will be welcomed. There is free parking also.
