The Great Baddow Lawn Tennis Club is on Ladywell Lane in Sandon, on the border with Great Baddow. They describe themselves as “The Friendliest Tennis Club in Chelmsford, Essex“. The club was founded in 1902 and first played in Great Baddow on Galleywood Road. They moved to Ladywell Lane in 1966.
The club has 6 floodlit all weather grass courts which are open until 10.15pm every day. They have an active social group and players compete in regular tournaments throughout the year. They also coach children and run summer schools during the holidays.
The club room has a licensed bar, kitchen and changing rooms with showers.

Ladywell Lane is in Sandon, just off Molrams Lane as you head to the slip road leading to the south bound A1114 (Essex Yeomanry Way).
